Bauer’s Beach
Bauer’ s Beach is a collection of update fully equipped efficiency cottages in Downtown Harrisville, overlooking Harrisville Harbor and Lake Huron in Alcona county. Each cottage is a little different than the others, making them all similar, yet unique. Bauer’s beach is a popular vacation getaway for couples and families. There is a bon fire pit overlooking the lake and harbor to watch those “famous” moon and sun rises over the lake. There is nothing quite as romantic as the dawning of a new day

The resort itself is on a bluff overlooking Harrisville Harbor and Lake Huron.  A variety of lawn furniture including picnic table's, loveseats, swings and gas grills are available for friends and family to enjoy in the garden like common grounds. The Bauer’s provide firewood and kindling.  A gently sloped stairway and landings provide  easy  access to  the  waters edge for young and the young at heart.  At the bottom of the stairway is 161’ of Lake Huron shoreline to enjoy whether hunting for rocks or building a sandcastle.

Walk everywhere
Harrisville has a quiet and diverse downtown area with shops, a café’ pubs and restaurants that you can walk to. The state park & harbor are also within walking distance.

Water sports
Harrisville is close many inland lakes and rivers for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, boating and other water sports.

Golf
For Golfers, Springport hills and Logger trace, Greenbush, White Pines National, the Gales, Lakewood shores and Blackshire are all very close by.

History
The North East Michigan coastline is RICH in logging, Indian, railroad and Maritime history. There are many lighthouses
